Position Overview
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), your main responsibility will be to drive interest and generate qualified leads for their accounting services. You will engage with prospects who have expressed interest in their services through scheduled calls and follow-ups, focusing on selling our bookkeeping, accounting, and tax filing solutions. This role requires a consultative approach to identify client needs, nurture relationships, and help them understand how this Company can streamline their accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Qualification: Engage with prospects who have opted in for more information via our website or scheduling platform, Acuity.
- Sales Calls & Demos: Schedule and conduct calls with leads, introducing The Company's services and solutions, and explaining the benefits of our online dashboard and accounting offerings.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients, understanding their unique accounting needs and providing tailored solutions.
- CRM Management: Use ZOHO CRM to track interactions, manage leads, and monitor progress towards sales goals.
- Sales Targeting: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure targets are met and that leads are effectively transitioned through the sales pipeline.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain deep knowledge of the Company's accounting services, including bookkeeping, tax filing, and reporting, in order to effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.
- Follow-Up: Perform regular follow-ups with leads who are interested but have not yet committed to ensure the sales process continues smoothly.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in a B2B or financial services environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in accounting, operations, or finance is preferred, with a solid understanding of bookkeeping and tax filing processes.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand client needs and present solutions effectively.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ZOHO CRM, Acuity Scheduling, and RingCentral or similar CRM and sales tools is a plus.
- Languages: Fluent in English
