As an Collections Agent, you will be responsible for:

  • Processes heavy phone call volume of customer account inquiries and concerns
  • Respond to written account inquires and requests
  • Follow up on billing issues
  • Process monthly late charges, interest, late letters and pre-liens
  • Administer association collection policies for delinquent owners
  • Monitor delinquent accounts for additional collection activity, up to and including lien preparation and forwarding owner accounts to the attorney
  • Prepare monthly delinquency reports based on an established schedule
  • Process incoming email
  • Process returned items
  • Process account adjustments
  • Log returned mail
  • Work with association’s collection attorneys
  • Track and log owner payments that are forwarded to a third-party processor
  • Other duties as assigned.

Schedule


Monday to Friday

  • Standard time: 10:00 a.m to 07:00 p.m Mexico City time.
  • Daylight saving: 09:00 a.m to 06:00 p.m Mexico City time.

CANDIDATES SHOULD BE LOCATED AT LEAST 6 HOURS FROM GUADALAJARA JALISCO AND / OR MEXICO CITY

MIN REQUIREMENTS:

  • MUST: Advanced-Native English verbal and written (interview process fully on English)
  • Around 2 to 3 years of experience within a call center in collection or billing campaigns for American customers.
  • Strong communication skills in writing and speaking in English.
  • Abilities to explain customer statements/account ledger to non-financial people.
  • Tech Savvy.
  • Basic Excel.
