Latin American countryoperations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. Aboutthe role The IT Remote Center Support Intern will provide technicalsupport, via phone, email, on-site and other means of communicationto all GMF employees.

Responsible for assisting with researchingand documenting resolutions for all escalated tier I technicalsupport issues from GMF Remote Center Users.

Assist in theinstallation, configuration and diagnoses of laptop / desktophardware / software related issues for remote center users todetermine proper solution / course of action.

Also will support thearea with researching, implementation and documenting proven bestpractice standards which require communication between technical ITstaff, business management and vendors while building positiverelationships.

Locations : BOGOTÁ, COLOMBIA What you need - Studyingbachelor in IT, Computer Science, or related. - Basic workingknowledge of desktop / laptop, hardware and software support.

  • Basicworking knowledge of operating systems and applications such asWindows, MS-Office suite, technical utilities and proprietaryvendor software.
  • Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting,including connectivity issues, locating IP or TCP / IP addresses, VPNsoftware, supporting remote and on-site users.
  • Basic knowledge ofActive Directory. - Basic verbal and written communication skills(English). - Analytical skills with an ability to think logicallyand be able to make correct decisions.
  • Ability to makerecommendations for courses of action to address hardware / softwarerelated issues. - Ability to provide first level problem diagnosesfor laptop / desktop hardware / software issues.

What you will be doing- Assist with the maintenance / support of A / V technologies. -Complete assigned requests and incidents based on ITSM platform.

  • Conduct hardware preparation and setup for end users. - Contributeto the Service Now Knowledge Base. - Test hardware and software forfuture upgrades.
  • Assist with the development of an ITSM platform.- Maintain updated knowledge on computer hardware / software. -Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the Remote Center SecureData Center.
