- Position Overview : * As an IT Grants Coordinator, you will be a key player in ensuring adherence to guidelines, standards, and regulations related to grant programs.
Your role is critical in maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of grant processes. You’ll work closely with grant recipients, evaluate compliance, and contribute to policy development.
- Responsibilities : *
- Resolving Conflicts and Negotiating : *
- Investigate complaints related to grant programs.
- Provide corrective recommendations for identified issues.
- Engage in conflict resolution and negotiation.
- Evaluating Compliance : *
- Review, analyze, and rate grant proposals.
- Ensure alignment with guidelines and standards.
- Monitor compliance with grant conditions, federal / state regulations, and contractual provisions.
- Interpreting Contract Details : *
- Provide comprehensive information to grant recipients regarding contract specifics.
- Enhance proper execution by clarifying contract terms.
- Assist prospective grant recipients in understanding grant provisions and submission requirements.
- Policy Development : *
- Collaborate in policy development related to grants.
- Create grant monitoring procedures.
- Maintain compliance review guidelines.
- Training and Education : *
- Develop and deliver statewide training sessions for stakeholders.
- Topics may include the grant application process and compliance training.
- Resource Monitoring : *
- Track grant fund utilization.
- Ensure proper documentation is received.
- Report on grants to and from the state.
- Assessing Administration and Viability : *
- Evaluate grant administration, organization, and fiscal viability.
- Consider other relevant matters impacting grant effectiveness.
- Qualifications : *
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Administration, Business, or Legal Studies).
- Experience in administering government grants and grantee sub-recipient monitoring.
- Familiarity with contract review and negotiation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
