Lodgify is at an exciting moment of growth and innovation. As we build new capabilities in-house, we are seeking for an engaged Payment Operations Specialist to support the growth of our Fintech team.
This role will help build a world-class payments operations team that supports Lodgify’s growth by fostering innovation, ensuring compliance, and delivering exceptional service to merchants. By automating processes and driving operational excellence, we aim to contribute to a payment ecosystem that is both secure and scalable.
To be successful, you must ensure the seamless operation and supervision of merchant payment processes by providing accurate, efficient, and compliant support, while continuously improving workflows and resolving issues to enhance merchant satisfaction and business performance.
⭐ How will you make an impact?
- Maintaining and supervising merchant accounts while providing support to their inquiries.
- Supporting merchants in their onboarding process
- Monitoring onboarding and payment workflows
- Executing payment policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements
- Following up and resolving payment-related issues and disputes
- Documenting payment processes and procedures
- Supporting requests related to payouts and fraud
- Analyzing payment trends and proposing improvements
- Preparing and submitting merchant reports
- Preparing daily reconciliation of payment transactions to the finance department
- Supporting the implementation of new payment-related products and services
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to address payment-related issues
⭐ What makes you a great fit?
- If you have 2 years of experience in payment operations, dispute or chargeback management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (another European language is a plus).
- Maintain a proactive mindset with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
- Have a strong understanding of payment systems and banking processes
- Have excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze payment data, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and risk management
- Great communication skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively identify and address issues related to payment operations
