We are looking for a Sales Strategy Analyst to join our Business Development team at Pomelo

What you'll do

Align corporate strategy

  • Develop and maintain revenue and sales forecasts
  • Analyze sales metrics and KPIs to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Extract business insights from data to support growth initiatives.
  • Proactively create reports and dashboards for our management and C-Level
  • Provide market and competitive landscape insights
  • Prepare monthly updates and automate key metrics reporting
  • Make sure daily tasks and initiatives are aligned with broader company strategies, driving results and fostering growth.
  • Act as the point of contact (POC) between the Business Development team and other company areas, ensuring alignment and synergy in key initiatives for business growth and operational excellence (finance, Marketing, BI, Operations)

Lead Sales governance and optimize our sales processes

  • Oversee sales team governance, including forecast calls, win/loss reviews, pipeline generation meetings, etc.
  • Develop and enhance sales team methodologies and playbooks, ensuring adoption and continuous improvement in close collaboration with sales teams.
  • Maintain the client and account database updated and enrich data to improve GTM execution
  • Work closely with Country Managers to provide insights and support key initiatives.
  • Serve as the go-to expert on Salesforce adoption, leading key projects to enhance sales performance.
  • Maintain and elevate sales reporting, crafting new reports as needed to provide actionable insights.
  • Analyze customer data to recommend strategic actions for sales, marketing, and customer success teams
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to identify opportunities for improvement and streamline workflows to maximize productivity.
  • Lead key sales initiatives: Sales plays, campaigns, account plans, etc.

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate on Engineering, accounting, business or similar
  • Strong data management skills, with the ability to use insights to drive decisions and improvements. Experience with database management and Tableau (or similar tools) is preferred.
  • Creative, analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for process improvement.
  • Ability to design and implement new processes and ensure smooth adoption across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across all levels and areas of the organization.
  • Hands-on experience as a CRM administrator preferred (Salesforce certification is a plus).
  • Experience in Sales Operations or Strategy, managing a CRM in a B2B industry
  • Professional proficiency in English required, Portuguese is a plus.
