Review all financial transactions including all sales, internal spending and receipts, third-party vendor payments and more each week, ensuring the accuracy of financial data
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
Prepare a wide variety of financial reports and analyze KPIs, including ad hoc reports following the company’s requirement
Improve internal bookkeeping processes by identifying and implementing new software and tools to make them more accurate and efficient.
Review and run monthly payroll for internal team + contractors.
Process Accounts Receivables each month using Stripe, tracking credits and deductions for each client account
What You Must Have and/or Highly Preferred:
A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
More than 4 years of experience in the Accounting and/or FP&A department or a similar position
Advanced knowledge of MS Office packages, especially Excel
The ability to work independently, self-manage, manage multiple concurrent operational tasks (ie. billing and payroll), and run new projects (such as project managing the upgrade to these systems)
Strong analytical skills, and a background or experience in data science are preferred
Fluent written and verbal English skills
CPA designation is preferred
Experience working with Xero is preferred
Experience working in a startup is preferred
