Key Responsibilities:

  • Review all financial transactions including all sales, internal spending and receipts, third-party vendor payments and more each week, ensuring the accuracy of financial data
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
  • Prepare a wide variety of financial reports and analyze KPIs, including ad hoc reports following the company’s requirement
  • Improve internal bookkeeping processes by identifying and implementing new software and tools to make them more accurate and efficient.
  • Review and run monthly payroll for internal team + contractors.
  • Process Accounts Receivables each month using Stripe, tracking credits and deductions for each client account


What You Must Have and/or Highly Preferred:

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • More than 4 years of experience in the Accounting and/or FP&A department or a similar position
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office packages, especially Excel
  • The ability to work independently, self-manage, manage multiple concurrent operational tasks (ie. billing and payroll), and run new projects (such as project managing the upgrade to these systems)
  • Strong analytical skills, and a background or experience in data science are preferred
  • Fluent written and verbal English skills
  • CPA designation is preferred
  • Experience working with Xero is preferred
  • Experience working in a startup is preferred
