You will report to our Talent Acquisition Lead and collaborate with the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialists and our People Ops team to ensure a smooth and positive experience for candidates as they transition into team members with us.
Your adaptability and flexibility will be crucial in navigating dynamic hiring needs and evolving market conditions also constant and assertive communication in a 100% remote environment will be essential to align hiring efforts with broader organizational goals and objectives.
Outcomes
- Work and form efficient relationships with internal People team to ensure quality and efficient processes that provide an excellent experience for our candidates.
- Ensure you're bringing on board the best possible talent (Tech and non-tech roles) that aligns with Baubap's culture and will help us fulfill our financial inclusion mission, while striving to ensure their long-term commitment through implementing ongoing improvements in the hiring process.
- Apply innovative sourcing strategies, which are reflected in conversion rates, focused on attracting the right candidates.
Day to day
- Work closely with the rest of the people team, to be able to make recommendations and create strategies that allow attracting the best talent.
- Maintain constant, transparent, and assertive communication with the hiring team, ensuring that the processes flow efficiently.
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles (Tech and business profiles)
- Implement screening strategies aimed at successfully identifying if a candidate aligns with the company's culture
- Manage and maintain our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring that each stage is up-to-date and that the time each candidate spends in each stage is appropriate, or identifying bottlenecks that limit the progress and proposing improvement strategies.
- Follow up on interview process status, update records in internal database, and provide valuable feedback to each candidate interviewed that helps them with their professional development.
- Develop and release job postings on platforms, such as social media and job boards and also utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative recruiting strategies to find quality candidates and prospects for new business
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates through creative sourcing methods (e.g. networking, referrals, job boards, and social media)
- Screen resumes and prospects, qualify, interview, and manage candidates throughout the interview process from prepping before interviews to assisting with final offer negotiation
- Stay active with current job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements.
- Grow and foster high-touch relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open up
Requirements
- +3 years' experience in recruitment or human resources
- +1 years of experience recruiting Tech roles for Startups environments
- +1 year of experience working in a Startup.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; (English and Spanish)
- Interpersonal, and decision-making skills,
- Familiarity with job boards, and HR software, databases, and management systems
- Proven experience conducting various types of interviews (i.e., phone, video, etc.)
Nice to have
- Previous experience as a Talent Acquisition in an early stage startup environment.
